Wow, very good post and very useful for everybody. It is a shame that as Terry pointed out there is no way to move a keyword from one group to another... it is quite a pain to do that manually but still these are good ways to re-organize the campagin with "small" effort next to having to do everything manually.
Thanks for pointing them out, some of them are not usually known by people like me :)

[...] Previously when you had to re-organize your campaign, Yahoo Panama only allowed you to move or copy an entire adgroup to a different campaign. [...]

Terry,

Good question. We don't currently offer a feature for moving keywords from one ad group to another ad group (same or different campaign, but within the same account), but it's high on our to-do list. In the meantime, you will have to do it “manually” (i.e., copy and then delete them).

Hang in there,

The real question is how can I move keywords from one ad group to another? When many accounts got moved to the new system I had keywords that were grouped by labels but had slightly different ad copy segmented into dozens and dozens of ad groups with no logical grouping anymore. I'd like to put my keywords back into logical ad groups but the only way to move a keyword is to delete it then readd it, which is tedious and you lose all historical data for that keyword. We really need a move keyword tool in light of the mess the move has made of many accounts.
