Black Friday is the New Cyber Monday

Which post-Thanksgiving shopping day gives the biggest online bang?

While most people identify the day after Thanksgiving—or “Black Friday”—as the biggest shopping day of the year for in-store sales, some new Yahoo! research shows that the day of turkey leftovers may actually be turning into the new “Cyber Monday.”

The Yahoo! Network Insights team looked back at last year’s consumer patterns to help marketers improve their sales during this critical time of year. Online advertising effectiveness on Black Friday and Cyber Monday—the Monday after Thanksgiving, traditionally the biggest day for online sales—was analyzed and compared to data in the preceding four weeks of November.

Good point about the cyber Monday. In these times of recession every good day of sales is a good chance of making money for us. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are very good days to make online sales and targeting keywords specific to that date is profitable if the cost is not too high. There are also other dates where specific keywords may work as well.

I agree. The internet makes any day potentially a great day for sales. And there’s plenty of people who are new, but delivering a good online site from which people can learn about great deals. Check out the newcomer http://www.blackfridayads2009.info The site is pretty comprehensive with ad scans, link and hot deals for a long list of online and brick and mortar stores.

If you are a type of person who shops for the holidays really early? I am! I’m not a fan of waiting in line or the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping in stores. I love having gifts for my friends and family delivered right to my door. There’s nothing like curling up on the couch with your laptop and do online shopping. This is what I found searching online and also want to share with you for upcoming Black Friday. You can get whatever you want form here—and guess what you can earn money for college tuition, expenses, or loans as well. Isn’t that cool???!!!!!

You don’t necessarily need to wait until Cyber Monday to find huge savings. If you are planning on getting a portable audio device this year, such as an iPod or other mp3 player, JLab Audio is worth checking out for iPod accessories and more

I do most of my shopping online for gifts, it is so stress free. I found some great gift card stocking stuffers this year at http://www.bbbcertifiedgifts.com/preorders.html
