New Yahoo! Advertising Resources
Advertising information, just the way you like it
Advertising was already fast-paced in the hay day of Madison Avenue, when “email” was paper notes passed via pneumatic tube. Today the speed is positively blinding. To help our advertisers keep up, we’ve launched some new information resources across different platforms. We’ll show you how to increase the value of your campaigns, find new ways to engage your customers and bring your marketing to the next level.
No matter how you like to get your information—blog, Facebook or Twitter—we’ve got you covered. (Sadly, pneumatic tube is not an option at this time.)
Yahoo! Advertising Blog
Up until now, Sponsored Search clients relied on the Yahoo! Search Marketing for product updates, news, tips and insight . But your advertising needs have expanded, and we’ve new developed products and services to meet those needs. The new Yahoo! Advertising Blog is the place to learn about all of our advertising innovation — in display, search and mobile — and pick up valuable insights to help you win in the ever-changing world of digital marketing. Coverage will include not only information about Yahoo! Advertising, but also helpful news and views from the greater advertising universe.
Of course, the Yahoo! Search Marketing blog will continue to update all of our Sponsored Search clients on the latest developments.
Facebook: Yahoo! Advertising
Become a fan of our new Yahoo! Advertising Facebook page for easy access to blog posts, videos, photos, events, and the best in the advertising world. When you become a fan, you’ll be able to keep up to date on everything we do.
Twitter: Yahoo! AdBuzz
Launched several months ago, Yahoo! AdBuzz on Twitter offers witty observations and fast access to blog posts, events, and marketing tidbits and trends from around the Web.

the most important thing to us, as ppc advertisers of over 5 years is that our ads dont appear on the parked domains and ad resellers…we have had to block over 450 sites so far this year…it seems to be getting better though…the parked domain ads do not appear on google anymore at least…
so we increased our yahoo budget. added keywords and went to advanced search again.
we also see the results of your new alogorithm pricing for sites that click our ads and are not relevant…we see improvement at yahoo…congratulations it was about time you did something to monetize all those eyeballs.

Those resources seem pretty useful for people using PPC advertising, blocking sites not useful for us is very important and we are seeing a constant improvement in yahoo, however ppc is not for everybody and some kind of businesses are not going to work very well with this strategy. Not bad for us so far and wanting to grow more.

my PPC advertising on Google Adwords is really effective in promoting my affiliate links. my Adbrite PPC advertising cost seems to be higher than Adwords.’;,
