Campaign encompasses the overall &quot;category&quot;.

Ad Groups separate each product or service in the specific category.

Keywords in each Ad Group are very targeted to that particular product or service, and also each have a unique destination URL with tracking so I can analyze what is and isn&#039;t working. 

Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way a few years back - anyway, these are great tips for beginners.
