Robert,

This is an upcoming change that has not yet been implemented, so you will see ads that are longer than 70 characters for a while. We pre-announced it to give you time to prepare. We will be requiring short descriptions later this month but will not begin truncating until June. Stay tuned.

You may also contact Customer Solutions if you have more questions, (866) 924-6676.

A question: Why is Verbatim allowed to display longer versions or short ads irregardless of placement and bid???

Please see the following example, ad copy today ( and everyday from this particular company) from the search page:

Translation Services - Save Over 40% Now
www.VerbatimSolutions.com - SAVE Over 40% for Professional Translation Services and see why more than 25,000 companies select our Translation Services-Quality Guarantee-Fast Service-Click here for a Translation Quote

As you can see, it is clearly over the 70 characters that the rest of us are allowed to place in short ads. Why is this?

I am looking forward to your response. Also, if there is another contact address that I should be sending this inquiry to, please let me know.

What does "in May" mean? Please provide a date.

In fact, since the "live" deadline is really June... please provide that actual date too.
