[...] Yahoo! Search Marketing launches it’s update ad ranking system today. The new ranking model changes the way that advertisers ranking for various keywords and replaces the bid-to-position model. So far so good.

I reworded an ad and it was reviewed very quickly – the ranking changed too :)

    Keep it up

You have a blue panel blotting
out the right part of the
page. Why do you blot this
    out?

we did a search on PANAMA and it did not hit your new site offering.

When can we expect this to arrive in the UK and the rest of Europe?

    Joe Schott notes:

We did a search on PANAMA and it did not hit your new site offering…

Although “Panama” is a very big deal indeed, the vast majority of people who search on “Panama” are not looking for information on our new search marketing system. They may be looking for info on, say “a man, a plan, a canal,” a country, a holiday cruise, a hat or a Van Halen tune.

“Panama” isn’t a specific product or a website. It is, rather, the internal code name for our new search advertising system. “Panama” is almost everywhere within the Yahoo!-verse.
