ED TALLEY asks:

I am trying to learn where the next bidder is beneath me. Will there be a tool to see who is bidding for the same keywords under me and what they are paying?

As always, we encourage advertisers to track their results (conversion rate and other performance metrics) from individual keywords, so that you can manage your bids and creative for maximum return-on-investment. A keyword can be profitable at any position on the page, so we suggest not focusing too much on position. Rather, you should test different bids and creative (titles and descriptions) to find the “sweet spot” where your profit is the greatest.

Hey, Michael B.

All advertisers, whether they have upgraded their accounts yet or not, will have their bid information included in the Latest Available Bid Range column. Once you enter a new bid in the Max Bid column and click Update Bids, you will see an estimate of the average position your listing may achieve on the results page, based on your new bid and the historical bids of other advertisers.

It does not appear that Latest Available Bid Range is working correcty... On the FAQ page for Panama the following is stated.

"Latest Available Bid Range – This column displays the latest available bid information for the positions at the top of the search results page for each of your keywords. For example, if the latest available bid range displayed for one of your keywords is $.75 - $.25, that means that the advertiser in position one is bidding $.75 and the advertiser in the last position at the top of the page is bidding $.25."

However, for many keywords bidding $.01 more then the number one position does not move them into the #1 position. It seems that certain advertisers are not being included in this range. Is there integration between the Panama bid landscape and the old sponsored landcape, or are the Panama users not integrated??
